Research Interests:
After completion of his Ph.D.
degree under directions of
Prof. Milton J. Rosen, Dr.
Wu joined California Institute
of Technology as a post doctoral
scholar in 2002. He is currently
working on two projects of
improved oil recovery (IOR)
in sandstone and carbonate
reservoirs, sponsored by U.S.
Department of Energy (DOE).
Dr. Wu's research interests
include surfactants and interfacial
phenomena such as wetting,
spreading, emulsion and adsorption,
as well as development of
novel surfactants for improved
oil recovery, remediation
of aquifer and groundwater
and other surfactant-related
industrial processes.
