Research Interests:
Dr. Iglauer's
research interests include
evaluation of sealed joint
durability, mechanical and
surface analysis of polymer
foams and the understanding
of foam-sealant adhesion.
Dr. Iglauer's research in
PEER involves the oilfield
applications of chemicals,
including surfactants and
polymers to control water
production and improve oil
and gas recovery. Results
from this work can significantly
lower oil production costs,
thereby providing large
cost savings for the oil
industry and an increase
in economically recoverable
energy resources.
