Research Interests:
Mr. Haught has over 17 years
of experience in the design
and troubleshooting of laboratory
facilities, specializing in
geochemistry and analytical
chemistry. Prior to joining
SHEETA, Mr. Haught has participated
on several projects with ChevronTexaco,
many in the areas of hydrocarbon
generation and geochemical
modeling, crude oil upgrading.
Particular areas of experience
are:
-Oil/Gas geochemistry - Laboratory
and field studies of reservoir
structure, oil/gas migration,
source correlation - Developed
gas isotope techniques that
guided oil/gas exploration
for Chevron.
-Improved Oil Recovery (IOR)
- Laboratory, field studies
of improved oil recovery.
Directed research company
effort to model gas geochemical
changes associated with steam
flooding - Successful effort
to modify steam flood control
programs.
-Oil Field Facility Remediation

of scaling problems - Applied
successful silicate scale
treatment to production and
steam flood recovery tubing
